The bookshelf speaker LS50 Meta, and the active speakers LS50 Wireless II and LS60 Wireless. What they all have in common is that they use KEF's patented Uni-Q technology, which expands the optimal listening area so that everyone sitting in different places in the room can experience the same natural, detailed sound.

Another advantage of Uni-Q technology is that the sound waves reach your ears at the same time, because the sound is dispersed from a single source. Traditional speakers have different driver placements, which means the sound reaches your ears at slightly different times, causing the sound to become blurred and less natural.

The LS50 Meta, LS50 Wireless II, and LS60 themselves use the 12th generation Uni-Q driver, which has been improved in several ways through KEF’s Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). A technology that won What-Hi-Fi’s ‘Innovation of the Year’ award in 2020. This involves a material with a complex labyrinth-like structure that absorbs 99 % of the unwanted sound from the rear of the driver. With the LS50 Wireless II and LS60 Wireless, KEF offers its vision of what the future of Hi-Fi looks like. That is what makes the LS60 Wireless so incredibly coherent, with more precise and clearer sound across the entire bandwidth.
