KEF Kube 10 MIE is a 10" active subwoofer that gives you a lot for the money. The subwoofer can be used in any system, but it is especially well suited to LS50 Meta and LS50 Wireless II, where it will add deeper and more dynamic bass. Music, movie, and gaming experiences will be delivered with even more impressive realism that can easily fill even medium-sized rooms. Subwoofer with advanced DSP and iBX

One of the biggest upgrades in the new Kube series is that KEF has equipped it with their patented Music Integrity Engine® (MIE). This is an extremely advanced DSP that ensures all the components in the subwoofer work in perfect harmony with each other and the rest of the design. 

The MIE acts as the brain of the subwoofer, and one of its functions is the so-called Intelligent Bass Extension (iBX), which analyzes the input signals and makes lightning-fast adjustments. The brilliant thing about this feature is that it makes it possible to deliver much deeper and more dynamic bass than is normally possible. This applies both when you are listening at low volume and at thunderously high sound levels that can even be heard by the neighbors. 

300-watt efficient class-D amplifier 

On the front of the subwoofer, there is an 8" woofer designed with a large cone area and long excursion. This provides higher output at lower frequencies and helps ensure fast, powerful, and precise bass reproduction. It is equipped with an efficient 300-watt class-D amplifier that delivers impressive performance with minimal heat generation. 

Elegant subwoofer with versatile placement options

Kube 10 MIE has a sealed cabinet design, which makes it easy to place in any room, as it does not have any bass port that needs air around it. At the same time, the Kube series is an exceptionally elegant and timeless subwoofer that will fit beautifully into your home with its modern look and rounded corners. 

On the back of the Kube 10 MIE, KEF has placed the three intuitive preset EQ settings, which allow you to get perfect bass reproduction no matter where it is placed in the room. Here you can adjust the subwoofer depending on whether it is placed out in the open, by the wall, or in the corner. 

SmartConnect and option for wireless connection 

Kube 10 MIE comes with a wide range of connection options - including the advanced SmartConnect function, which automatically optimizes the signal gain depending on whether a mono or stereo signal is in use. This guarantees that you always get optimal performance, no matter how your system is configured.

Kube 10 MIE can also be connected wirelessly by purchasing the KEF KW1 adapter, giving you even more placement options and less cable clutter. The KW1 adapter makes it possible to transmit audio in true hi-res, ensuring that all the details and effects from your favorite movies and music are delivered clearly and precisely.

Smart power modes 

KEF has equipped the Kube series with several power modes that make it possible for you to save power when you are not using the subwoofer. With the 'Auto Wake Up' function, the subwoofer turns on as soon as it detects an audio signal. In addition, there is the 'Always On' mode, which keeps it ready for instant playback, and '12V Trigger', which turns it on automatically.
