Here is the order in which you should upgrade your system

For decades, people have prioritized speakers, amplifiers, and then the source when building their system. However, this is a mistake, and it is for the same reason that you do not start by building the roof of a house. You start with the foundation, and it starts at the outlet.

Power is your system's fuel, so there must be nothing to limit it when your equipment needs it. It is also crucial that no noise escapes from the network and contaminates your system. All that provides a good foundation.

Below we have compiled our 5 steps on how you should upgrade your system.

1. The power cable

The power cable from the wall outlet to the power strip is the most important component of your system because it sets the bar for what performance you can achieve. Your amplifier, source and speakers cannot perform better than the conditions they are given to work with.

If you start with the wrong cable, it will never get better than that. Therefore, you should prioritize buying the best possible cable to supply the power rail from the wall socket, so that there is nothing that limits your system.

2. The power rail

The next step in the upgrade is the power rail, which distributes the power and ground. It is the heart of your system and allows your components to exchange their different ground potentials. The grounding directs the noise away from your components so that the signals are not contaminated and distorted.

In a power rail from IsoTek, the noise-reducing technology sits parallel to the power line, so there is nothing to limit the system. The construction provides an extremely low impedance, which means that the electronics can get all the power it needs - instantly!

3. Network switch

The Internet brings with it an incredible amount of noise because it is a "floating" network. There is therefore no grounding to drain the noise out. Therefore, it is a good idea to have a network switch and a wired network. A high-quality network switch lowers the noise level with its built-in noise reduction.

An additional benefit is that a HiFi network switch has a high-quality power supply. This means that no extra noise is fed into the signal and onto the other components. In this way, a good network switch makes all the components sound better.

4. Disconnecting your system

Vibrations occur in your components, which develop into resonances and limit the performance of your system. That's why we offer a large selection of resonance controlling products that can give all your HiFi devices a significant upgrade.

All the products from IsoAcoustics are about handling the vibrations so that they are not sent back to where they came from, where they will be out of phase and timing. Once you have tried IsoAcoustics products, you will discover that nothing can perform to its full potential without it.

5. The other cables

When all the other things are in place, it's about protecting the delicate signal. The cables we sell have incredibly low inductance, effective shielding and a low noise level. This ensures that you get all the fine nuances from the signal, so you get the most out of your system.
