200 watts, streaming, and DAC in the same cabinet

HiFi Rose has not just taken a streamer and added a small amplifier. The RS520 delivers 2 x 200 watts and uses GaN FET technology in the amplifier section.

The digital conversion is handled by the ESS Sabre ES9038PRO DAC, so the RS520 can take care of the entire signal path from digital music to your speakers.

That is exactly the idea behind the RS520 that we think works so well: you get streaming, DAC, and amplification in one complete solution. Fewer boxes and cables – but still a system you can explore.

A streamer you will actually want to use

The wide 12.6\" touchscreen is hard to miss, but fortunately it is more than just eye candy. Album covers, menus, music videos, and VU meters are displayed directly on the front and make operation part of the experience.

The RS520 runs HiFi Rose's own ROSE OS and can also be controlled from the Rose Connect app or the included Bluetooth remote control.

You get access to TIDAL, Qobuz, Apple Music, internet radio, and RoseTube, among others, while Roon Ready, AirPlay, Bluetooth, and DLNA provide more ways to get music into the system.

Space for your own music collection

Streaming is only one part of the RS520. You can install a 2.5\" SSD internally and keep your local music files stored directly in the player.

With a compatible external USB CD drive, you can also play CDs and rip them to WAV or FLAC on internal storage or USB media.

RoseTube gives the RS520 another dimension. Music videos and concert recordings can be shown on the front screen or passed on to a TV or projector via the 4K-compatible HDMI output.

That makes the RS520 more than a classic stereo amplifier – it can become the center of both streaming, your own music collection, and music videos.

The RS520 is built around an aluminum cabinet and has a design that stands out clearly from the traditional integrated amplifier.
