Dual-mono ESS DAC architecture

At the heart of Primo Plus are two ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chips in a true dual-mono design. Each channel is processed separately, reducing crosstalk and providing a more precise and stable stereo image.

The result is high-resolution sound reproduction with greater dynamics and a wider soundstage, where instruments and vocals are placed clearly in the room.

Low noise and precise clocking

Primo Plus is equipped with a dual linear power supply and advanced power filtering, which reduces noise and ensures stable operation for both the analog and digital sections.

At the same time, a high-precision clock ensures minimal jitter, resulting in cleaner, more stable playback with better timing and detail.

Flexible connectivity

With a wide range of connections, Primo Plus fits into almost any hi-fi setup. It offers USB-C, USB-A, optical and coaxial input, as well as Bluetooth and network streaming.

On the output side, you will find both balanced XLR and RCA, making it easy to connect it to integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, or active speakers.

Stream your music

With Volumio OS, you get access to a single platform for all your digital music sources. Here you can stream from services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, and HighResAudio, play music from network drives or local storage, and listen to internet radio.

Primo Plus is also Roon Ready, supports DLNA and AirPlay, and can be controlled via Volumio's apps for iOS and Android.

Built-in preamplifier

Primo Plus has built-in volume control and a preamp function, allowing it to be connected directly to a power amplifier or active speakers. With eight adjustable output levels from 0.5 to 6.3 Vrms, it can easily be adapted to different systems.

This makes it possible to create a compact, minimalist hi-fi setup without the need for a separate preamplifier.
