Sumiko Oyster is an MM cartridge with a very harmonious and musical sound reproduction. Here, you get serious hi-fi sound for the money, and a great introduction to what upgrading your cartridge can do for your sound quality. The sound reproduction will feel more three-dimensional, with increased depth and a wider frequency range. It is not the world’s most detailed cartridge, but it is capable of conveying your vinyl records in a highly engaging way. 

The recommended tracking force is 2.3 grams, and its ½” mount makes it a perfect match for the vast majority of turntables and RIAA amplifiers. The cantilever is made of aluminum with a spherical stylus profile, and high-quality copper coils are used in the cartridge body.
