Moonstone is a high-quality MM cartridge that gives you detailed and realistic sound reproduction from your vinyl records. Sumiko has further reduced the moving mass and output voltage so the soundstage becomes rich, deep, and three-dimensional. The output voltage has been reduced to 3 mV to ensure an ultra-low noise level, where the sound is wonderfully clear and completely free of harshness and distortion.

The recommended tracking force is 2.0 grams, and its ½” mounting makes it compatible with the vast majority of turntables and RIAA amplifiers. The cantilever is made of aluminum with a 0.3 x 0.7 mm elliptical diamond, mounted in a cartridge body with high-quality copper coils.

Rainier, Olympia, Moonstone, Wellfleet, and Amethyst have interchangeable styli (cartridge front assemblies) that fit each other. If you need to upgrade from Moonstone at a later time, you can simply replace the stylus with the Wellfleet or Amethyst model. Investing in a cartridge has never been more future-proof than this.
