The JBL Synthesis SCL-10XL is an in-wall speaker developed for home theaters where the sound experience needs to keep up with – and ideally elevate – the picture. It is designed for LCR use behind a screen or integrated into the room, giving you a solution that combines high performance with great flexibility. With a compression driver, HDI horn, and dual 10” woofers, you get reproduction that is dynamic, controlled, and well suited to larger rooms.

Power and control in reproduction

The SCL-10XL uses two 10” woofers in a sealed enclosure, delivering tight and controlled bass that reaches deep without losing composure. You get reproduction that maintains calm and precision, even when the volume is increased. The high power handling and sensitivity make it possible to fill larger rooms with sound without it feeling strained.

Controlled dispersion and clear dialogue

The combination of the D2815 compression driver and HDI™ horn ensures consistent dispersion both horizontally and vertically. This means the sound is distributed evenly throughout the room, so more seats get the same experience. Dialogue remains clear, and details in both films and music are preserved, even when a lot is happening at once.

Flexible integration in the home theater

You can install the SCL-10XL either behind an acoustically transparent screen or directly in a wall or piece of furniture. It is designed to work both vertically and horizontally without the typical challenges of uneven dispersion. That makes it easy to integrate as a front, center, or surround channel in a complete home theater system.
