Advanced driver type and material selection

At the heart of the R8s is an 8" driver with a diaphragm system built from a fiberglass composite – chosen for its combination of low mass and high structural rigidity. This balance makes it possible to reproduce low frequencies with precision and low distortion, even at high levels. With a linear excursion of ±28 mm, it is capable of moving significantly more air than its size suggests. The cabinet is acoustically sealed, giving you tight, controlled, and dry bass – ideal for critical listening.

Powerful amplification and intelligent control

The amplifier is a high-performance class-D design with 500 W RMS, delivering ample power to the driver – but it is the internal DSP platform that truly stands out. With a 48-bit signal path and an ARM Cortex M4 processor, all parameters can be adjusted with precision, and the subwoofer responds lightning-fast to input and room-specific conditions. Three EQ profiles provide quick adjustment, while the accompanying app gives you access to a full 10-band PEQ and three user-defined presets.

Intuitive operation and flexible integration

R8s offers both XLR and RCA inputs, as well as loop-out for passing the signal on. Of course, there is auto power-on and trigger functionality, and a color touchscreen on the front makes it easy to navigate directly on the unit. Everything can also be controlled from the dedicated app, making setup and fine-tuning easy and precise – without the need for external measuring instruments.
