Inside the custom-made chassis is the same dual-mono design as in Musical Fidelity's very best power amplifiers. But what sets the M6s PRX apart from other power amplifiers is its unique Choke Regulated Power Supply (CRPS).

A choke, which offers high resistance to AC and very low resistance to DC, provides a highly effective solution to power supply noise. Chokes were commonly used in traditional tube amplifiers, but Musical Fidelity was the first to use them with transistor designs. Musical Fidelity also exclusively uses a dual bifilar choke system for the ultimate in noise rejection.
