DIGITAL PRECISION AND STREAMING

At the heart of the 891 is the advanced MDE-3 DAC, delivering extremely low distortion of just 0.0003% and a dynamic range of 125 dB. With a frequency response from 2 Hz to 200 kHz, even the finest details in the music are preserved, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 125 dB ensures a remarkably clean and quiet background.

The built-in MiND2 module provides access to modern high-resolution streaming services and makes the 891 a natural digital hub in the system. With six digital inputs, including USB and HDMI ARC, both music streaming and TV sound are integrated into a single unit.

ANALOG VERSATILITY AND PHONO STAGE

MOON 891 is not just a digital master—it also houses a high-end analog heart. The built-in phono section supports both MM and MC cartridges with flexible gain levels of 40, 54, 60, and 66 dB. The user can also adjust both capacitance and resistance (from 10 ohms to 47 kΩ), making it possible to fine-tune the system precisely for any cartridge.

With an analog input impedance of 22 kΩ and an output impedance of just 50 ohms, the 891 ensures full compatibility with both classic and modern power amplifiers.

CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN

MOON 891 is designed to impress both technically and aesthetically. The solid construction weighs 25 kg and measures 48 cm in width and 14 cm in height, underscoring its uncompromising approach. MOON Damping Base (MDB) ensures that vibrations are minimized so the electronics can perform under the best possible conditions.

On the front, there is a 5” graphic color display that makes navigation intuitive, and with the included BRM-1 remote control, operation is simple and elegant. Power consumption is optimized to 30 W during operation and just 5.5 W in low-power standby.
