Marantz MODEL 70 – integrated stereo amplifier for music, vinyl, and TV
Marantz MODEL 70 is a Marantz amplifier for those who want to bring together music, vinyl, and TV sound in one stereo system. This integrated amplifier delivers 2 x 50 watts and has a built-in DAC, MM turntable input, HDMI ARC, and Bluetooth, so both analog and digital audio sources can be connected to the same amplifier.
Connect passive speakers, a turntable, and a TV, and use the same stereo system for everything from LPs and CDs to movies and TV. MODEL 70 does not have built-in network streaming, but can be combined with a separate streamer if you want access to, for example, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, or other network-based services.

Marantz amplifier for music, turntable, and TV
MODEL 70 combines the classic stereo amplifier with modern connectivity options. HDMI ARC makes it possible to integrate the TV into the stereo system, and with a compatible TV, the volume can be controlled directly from the TV's remote control.
The built-in MM RIAA amplifier also makes it possible to connect a turntable with an MM cartridge directly. Analog inputs can be used for, for example, a CD player and other audio sources. This makes MODEL 70 well suited to a traditional stereo system where the TV sound also needs to be played through the same speakers.
Integrated amplifier with 2 x 50 watts and Marantz HDAM
Marantz MODEL 70 delivers 2 x 50 watts and uses Marantz HDAM modules in the preamplifier section. The signal path is optimized with a focus on reducing noise and preserving the details in the music.
The built-in DAC makes it possible to connect digital audio sources such as a CD transport, streamer, or TV directly to the amplifier. You also get two selectable digital filters, making it possible to tailor the sound reproduction to the source and personal preferences.
If you prefer a more direct analog signal path, Source Direct can bypass tone controls and other unnecessary signal processing.
Connect a turntable, Bluetooth, and digital audio sources
A turntable with an MM cartridge can be connected directly to MODEL 70 via the built-in phono input. Digital audio sources are connected via optical or coaxial inputs, while Bluetooth with aptX Adaptive enables wireless audio from a phone, tablet, or computer.
Bluetooth works both ways. MODEL 70 can therefore also send audio to compatible wireless headphones.
There is no built-in HEOS or other network streaming. If you already have a streamer, or want to choose your own streaming solution, it can be connected via a digital or analog input. That way, MODEL 70 can serve as the center of a flexible stereo system that can be expanded as needed.
Marantz MODEL 70 as the center of the stereo system
MODEL 70 brings together the audio sources many people use every day in one integrated solution. The turntable gets its own MM input, digital sources can use the built-in DAC, and HDMI ARC makes it easy to get TV sound through the stereo system's speakers.
This makes this Marantz amplifier relevant if you want one complete stereo system for several different audio sources while also preserving the freedom to choose your own speakers, turntable, and external streamer.
