Stage XD5 draws on technology from JBL's professional audio world and uses high-quality components. The tweeter consists of a 1" aluminum dome paired with JBL’s own High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) waveguide. This combination provides clear and even treble reproduction – even when you are not sitting directly in front of the speaker. At the same time, an acoustic lens helps control and spread the sound, giving you a wide and balanced soundstage no matter where you place the speakers.

The bass reproduction is delivered by a 5.25" woofer with a graphite-filled polypropylene cone. This ensures strong and controlled bass that does not become muddy – even in open spaces or outdoor environments.
