IsoAcoustics Aperta – decoupling and optimal speaker tilt

IsoAcoustics Aperta is a decoupling stand for compact speakers on a desk, shelf, sideboard, or speaker stand. It combines IsoAcoustics' patented isolation technology with adjustable tilt, giving the speakers better mechanical working conditions and allowing them to be aimed toward your listening position.

Aperta can be tilted up to 6.5° up or down. This is practical when the speakers are not positioned at ear level. At the same time, the stand is designed to reduce the transfer of vibrations between the speaker and the surface beneath it. Each stand can support up to 15.9 kg, and IsoAcoustics Aperta is supplied as a set of two stands.

Reduce vibrations between speaker and surface

When a speaker is playing, the movements of the speaker drivers create mechanical energy that can be transferred to the furniture or stand beneath the speaker. IsoAcoustics Aperta is designed to reduce this energy transfer while also limiting vibrations reflected from the surface and back through the speaker cabinet.

IsoAcoustics describes the result as better clarity and a more focused stereo image, because unwanted vibrations have less impact on the sound reproduction.

Tilt the speakers toward the listening position

The integrated tilt function makes it possible to angle the speaker up to 6.5°, allowing it to be directed more accurately toward the listening position. The adjustment is made directly on the stand, where markings make it easier to set the angle precisely.

This is especially useful for speakers on a desk or a low sideboard, where the tweeter might otherwise be below ear level. If the speaker is positioned higher than the listening position, Aperta can also be tilted downward.

Choose IsoAcoustics Aperta based on your speaker size

IsoAcoustics Aperta measures 155 × 190 × 76 mm and has a maximum load capacity of 15.9 kg per stand. IsoAcoustics recommends that the base of the speaker should generally be at least as large as the stand, although a small overhang can be accepted.

For larger or heavier speakers, the Aperta series is also available as Aperta 200 and Aperta 300. If the top plate of your existing speaker stand is too small, an Aperta Support Plate can be used to create a larger supporting surface.
