Eversolo AMP-F2 – compact power amplifier with room to grow

Eversolo AMP-F2 is for those who want to build their system around separate components – without it having to take over the whole living room. Here, you get a compact power amp developed in collaboration with Starke Sound and based on their NS600 class-D amplifier module.

With 2 x 145 watts into 8 ohms, both XLR and RCA inputs, and the option of bridging, there is also room for the system to evolve. We especially think the AMP-F2 makes sense together with an Eversolo streamer with volume control, but it can of course also be used with other preamplifiers and sources.

More power than the size suggests

It is especially the combination of size and power that we like about the AMP-F2. The NS600 module delivers 2 x 145 watts into 8 ohms and up to 250 watts per channel into 4 ohms at 1% THD+N.

If you later need more power, the AMP-F2 can be bridged. You can therefore start with one amplifier in stereo and expand with another if your system changes.

The NS600 module operates at 600 kHz and uses PurePath Ultra-HD technology as well as an integrated feedback design with a focus on low distortion across the audible frequency range.

Enough power when the music demands it

Behind the compact format is a 600 watt SAPS switch-mode power supply. It is designed with a focus on high efficiency as well as low ripple and EMI.

That is an important detail to us. A compact power amplifier should not only be easy to place – the power supply must also be able to keep up when the music becomes dynamic.

The class-D design also keeps power consumption down. Eversolo states 14 watts at idle and 0.5 watts in standby.

Fits naturally into an Eversolo system

AMP-F2 has both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, giving you the freedom to choose preamplifier and source.

12 V Trigger IN/OUT also makes it possible for compatible components to turn on and off together. If you use an Eversolo DMP-A6, for example, the included USB-to-trigger cable can let the streamer control the AMP-F2.

That is the kind of small detail we appreciate in everyday use. Once the system is set up, you should not have to think about it consisting of separate components – you should just be able to put on some music.
