Focus 30 is packed to the brim with streaming options. With Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, Roon, Bluetooth, and local network connectivity on board (with the option for even more), Focus 30 will be able to stream anything your heart desires. That could be from a laptop, a phone, a tablet, a network-connected hard drive, or even a smartwatch. Whatever you choose to play from, your ears are in for a real treat.

Another advantage of Focus 30 is that you can continue using all your equipment from your previous system. On the rear panel of the Focus 30, you will find a complete set of digital and analog connections, which means you can use your CD player or turntable side by side with Focus 30's streaming capabilities.

TV owners have also been considered with these wireless speakers. If you do not want a full AV receiver, a Hi-Fi rack, and a lot of cables in your living room, then Focus 30 has you fully covered. Its built-in WiSA technology connects wirelessly to a compatible TV or USB dongle, and then the sound will flow out of your speakers. Completely hassle-free. No clutter, no fuss.

Built with 40 years of acoustic expertise

In Focus 30, you will find the classic and award-winning Dynaudio drivers. A 28 mm Cerotar soft-dome tweeter, which uses techniques and materials developed during the creation of Dynaudio's acclaimed Confidence, Special Forty, and Core series. This includes the internal Hexis dome, which sits just below the diaphragm and refines the airflow behind the playing surface to smooth the frequency response and reduce unwanted resonances.

The active speaker is equipped with an optimized magnet system that uses a strontium carbonate Ferrite+ design, which increases tweeter sensitivity. This brings out incredible detail and ensures a natural treble response. In practice, that means clear and detailed treble that you can listen to long into the night. And with Focus 30, that is exactly what you will want to do.

The 2 x 14 cm Esotec+ mid/bass drivers are made of MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer), a material that Dynaudio has created and refined itself over four decades. It provides exactly the right combination of lightness, stiffness, and damping for incredible control over the midrange and lower frequencies. Combined with an incredibly light aluminum voice coil (for more accuracy, control, and finesse) and an improved magnet system that generates greater excursion (for deeper, more punchy bass and more midrange clarity), you have a formula for addictive, toe-tapping performance.

The cabinets are sealed so the powerful amplification and DSP (digital signal processing) can be fully utilized. Together, this ensures that the extremely low frequencies, the expressive midrange, and the soaring treble reach new heights.

An active speaker with plenty of power

Focus 30 is an active speaker, which means that each individual driver is powered by its own amplifier. There are three amplifiers in each speaker – each amplifier is tailored to the driver it is paired with. That means the focus can be placed on the strengths of each specific driver and bring them out without having to compromise on other frequencies. The tweeter has a 110W amplifier, and each mid/bass driver has its own 280W amplifier.

Dynaudio has used high-quality Class D amplifiers from its partners at Pascal in Copenhagen. These Pascal amplifiers are also used in Dynaudio's flagship Core series, which is used in some of the world's best studios. We believe you will agree that there is something quite special about being able to draw a sonic line directly from the artist to your living room. It means that you can actually hear the music exactly as the artists intended it when they were standing in the studio.

That line continues through Dynaudio's DSP. As with Dynaudio's pro speakers, you can tell Focus 30 where it is placed in your room (near a wall, in a corner, or in free space) via a simple button in the accompanying Dynaudio app. It will then optimize itself to sound as good as possible in your room. There is even optional Dirac Live integration to calibrate the speakers to your surroundings and preferences.

The speakers are also exceptionally smart. They even know when they have their grilles on or are standing in their birthday suit – and they optimize themselves accordingly. They also constantly monitor volume levels that could cause damage to the drivers and amplifiers. To avoid this damage, they have created a custom high-pass filter that rolls off the bass at higher volume levels to keep everything balanced. In practice, this means you get deeper bass at lower volume levels – and that you can generally play much louder than otherwise.
