Cerotar tweeter with a focus on the fine details

The high frequencies are handled by Cerotar, a 28 mm soft-dome tweeter developed specifically for the Evoke series. It is based in part on experience from the Esotar Forty tweeter and Esotar3 from the Confidence series, but it is an independent design with its own Ferrite+ magnet system. The diaphragm has a precisely applied coating that is part of the work to control the reproduction of the high frequencies.

Behind the soft tweeter diaphragm sits Hexis - an internal dome that controls the airflow and reduces unwanted resonances. The purpose is a smoother frequency response, so the small details have room without being emphasized by resonances in the tweeter itself. It is an important part of Dynaudio's work to combine resolution with natural reproduction.

Dynaudio Evoke 30 with a well-thought-out 2.5-way design

The two 14 cm drivers work together in the bass range, but they do not have exactly the same task. The upper one reproduces both bass and midrange, while the lower one supports the bass and rolls off at a lower frequency. This is the principle behind the speaker's 2.5-way design.

Both drivers use 52 mm aluminum voice coils. The material is chosen to keep the moving mass down and adapt the drivers to their work with both bass and midrange. The design is therefore not just about more bass, but about tuning each driver's contribution to the whole.

MSP cones with a balance between stiffness and damping

The cones are made of MSP, which stands for Magnesium Silicate Polymer. It is Dynaudio's own cone material, developed to combine low weight, high stiffness, and internal damping. These properties are key to the drivers' work of reproducing both the power of the music and the smaller nuances.

Each cone is formed in one piece and connected directly to the fiberglass voice-coil former. In addition, there is a surround rooted in the Contour series and ceramic Ferrite+ magnets. These solutions are developed with a focus on longer cone excursion, control, and dynamics in the low frequencies.

Slim Danish design with four different looks

Evoke 30 measures 92 cm in height including feet and front grille and weighs 15.5 kg per speaker. This provides a manageable size for a stereo system, where the speakers also need to fit in among the home's other furniture.

The cabinet's gently curved sides and hidden screws support the clean look. You can choose between Black High Gloss and White High Gloss with glossy, lacquered surfaces or Walnut Wood and Blonde Wood with natural wood veneer. High gloss gives a more striking look, while the wood veneer adds warmth and texture. This way, you can choose the finish that suits your interior without changing the speaker's technical foundation.
