The new SignatureX power cable has been designed, hand-built, and tested in England to ensure the best performance and quality. In addition, the SignatureX power cable benefits from the very latest XLPE insulation, which is also found in many of Chord's speaker cables. This XLPE insulation ensures that the cable always delivers high performance in all environments and installations.

In addition to the unique Chord Company ARAY geometry, the new SignatureX power cable also features significantly heavier conductors, which provide far less resistance and therefore greater efficiency.

The IEC and output plugs themselves are specified with silver-plated external and internal contacts to achieve maximum performance. However, to achieve the best performance, it is also necessary to shield against all the common noise generated by sources such as mobile phones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc., and therefore Chord has equipped SignatureX with a high-density foil and braided shield, designed to keep as much of this interference away from the signal, and therefore the sound, as possible.
