BØRRESEN X3 IN BLACK - EXCLUSIVE USED FLOORSTANDING SPEAKERS

At Lydspecialisten, we offer an exceptionally beautiful set of used Børresen X3 speakers in black piano lacquer. An ambitious floorstanding speaker that combines advanced diaphragms and Børresen's distinctive ribbon tweeter with a large, open, and detailed soundstage.

X3 is built on the development work behind Børresen's exclusive M, 0, and Z series. The focus is on low moving mass, high stiffness, and limiting resonances. All with the aim of allowing more of the recording's nuances to come forward.

The speakers are in like-new condition and are an obvious opportunity to experience Børresen's uncompromising approach to music reproduction.

ADVANCED DIAPHRAGMS WITH HIGH STIFFNESS

Each speaker is equipped with one bass/midrange driver and two dedicated bass drivers. The diaphragms consist of two layers of carbon fiber around a lightweight aramid core with a honeycomb structure. This sandwich construction combines low weight with high stiffness and limits unwanted vibrations in the diaphragm.

The magnet system also uses double copper caps, which reduce inductance and contribute to a more even electrical load. It is a design in which materials and engineering work closely together to support precise and nuanced reproduction.

RIBBON TWEETER WITH AN EYE FOR THE SMALL DETAILS

Børresen's planar ribbon tweeter has a moving mass of just 0.01 grams. The extremely light diaphragm is developed to follow the music's fast transients and reproduce the fine details in overtones and attacks.

Together with the advanced bass drivers, it gives the X3 a strong foundation for combining dynamic headroom with the air and openness that make it exciting to explore familiar recordings.

A serious choice for those who want both the music's big movements and the small details conveyed through a thoroughly engineered set of speakers.
