Aurender MC10 - Master clock for music servers and DACs
Aurender MC10 is developed for digital music systems where precise timing is crucial. It delivers a stable 10 MHz master clock signal to compatible music servers and DACs and helps synchronize the digital circuits in the system.
MC10 is built on the same rubidium technology as Aurender's larger MC20, but in a more focused design with the features most modern digital systems use.
Highlights
- Rubidium-based 10 MHz master clock
- Four clock outputs
- Two 75Ω and two 50Ω outputs
- Developed for Aurender, Esoteric, CH Precision, and compatible products
- Low phase noise and high frequency stability
- Compact aluminum chassis
- Can be used with both music servers and DACs
- Built on the same rubidium platform as MC20
Developed for stable timing in digital music systems
In a digital music system, multiple devices work together on signal processing. Music servers, DACs, and other digital components depend on precise timing to operate under optimal conditions.
MC10 delivers a shared 10 MHz reference signal that helps the connected devices operate from the same time base. The result is more consistent and stable digital signal processing throughout the system.
Rubidium clock with high frequency stability
At the core of the MC10 is a rubidium-based clock module. This type of frequency reference is used in systems where high stability and precision are important over long periods of time.
The stable reference reduces timing variations and contributes to more consistent operating conditions for the digital circuits in the system.
A natural complement to Aurender music servers
MC10 is developed for Aurender music servers with a 10 MHz clock input, including the N20, N30SA, W20SE, and AP20.
When the music server is synchronized with an external master clock, the internal digital circuits operate from a shared and stable reference. This provides optimal operating conditions for the subsequent signal processing.
Can be used with compatible DACs
Many high-end DACs support external 10 MHz clock synchronization. Here, the MC10 can serve as a shared reference for both the music server and DAC.
By allowing multiple devices to operate from the same frequency reference, the entire digital signal chain can be synchronized more consistently.
Simple design with a focus on what matters
While the Aurender MC20 also includes separate word clock generators, the MC10 focuses exclusively on the 10 MHz master clock signal.
The simpler design makes the MC10 an obvious solution for the vast majority of modern digital music systems, where 10 MHz clock is the relevant standard.
Built for serious digital audio systems
The chassis is made of solid aluminum, which contributes to both mechanical stability and effective shielding of the sensitive circuits.
MC10 is developed for systems where every part of the digital signal path is optimized with a focus on timing, stability, and technical precision.
