The SE series offers significant improvements

Compared to its predecessor, the new SE model offers even more open, dynamic, and detailed sound reproduction. It is a very clear and audible improvement that is easy to hear in an A/B demonstration.

The improvements in the SE series include, among other things, a new crossover that has better characteristics in the bass and midrange response frequency. All internal wiring has now been cryogenically treated, having been frozen down to as low as -236 degrees. The new high-precision vibration-optimized capacitors have even been cryogenically treated twice to reduce resistance and improve signal transmission. The result is a high-precision component that enhances the treble range and provides natural music reproduction.

Audiovector has also improved the damping inside the cabinets using NanoPore™, which until now had only been used in the most exclusive and far more expensive Audiovector models. The SE series has had its damping factor optimized, improving dynamic and aperiodic performance. They have also received new precision-milled spikes with a knurled lock nut for easy adjustment.

The small design details

The fascia plate on the Gold Leaf Air Motion tweeter is machined from a single piece of Aerospace Grade Aluminium. It is precision-machined, glass-blasted, brushed, and then anodized in an attractive Tungsten Titanium Grey. The plate features a rose gold-plated dispersion mesh that acts as an S-Stop filter.

The new SE models all feature subtle, elegant, yet highly recognizable gold-plated brass emblems on the front panels and fabric grilles.
