Power with calm and control

P-188 delivers plenty of energy, but without the sound becoming harsh or strained. The speakers are kept under tight control, and the music retains its balance - even when the dynamics rise.

The bass is tighter, the instruments have more air around them, and the soundstage opens up with greater depth and ease.

New Pascal technology with faster response

The latest Pascal amplification works with fast UMAC modulation, which reduces noise and keeps output impedance very low.

This provides better control across the entire frequency range and helps the music flow more freely and naturally. At the same time, the design requires less filtering, which helps preserve the purity of the signal.

Power supply focused on stability

P-188 uses a resonant-mode power supply with power-factor correction. It operates more stably than traditional switching solutions and responds quickly when the music requires extra energy.

This provides a darker background level, faster power response, and better control of the speakers.

Noise reduction as part of the design

Aavik actively works with noise control through Tesla Coils, Square Tesla Coils, and Analog Dither Technology. The system reduces electrical noise and RF interference throughout the entire signal path.

The result is more calm in the soundstage, greater focus, and reproduction in which small details stand out more clearly.

Music before technology

P-188 does not try to impress with artificial warmth or excessive sharpness. It works more naturally and lets the music unfold without sounding technical or strained.
