The Aavik I-588 is the flagship model in the I-x88 series. It combines high power with a low-noise circuit and an exceptional sense of calm in the reproduction. This is not just about power, but about control, timing, and the ability to let the music flow naturally.

Power with calm and control

The I-588 delivers high power without sounding aggressive. It keeps the speakers under control and responds quickly to the signal. This results in reproduction with good dynamics, clear details, and a calm background.

The Pascal amplification uses Aavik’s UMAC modulation, which reduces noise and keeps the output impedance very low. This provides better control over the speakers and more precise reproduction across the entire frequency range.

Power supply that follows the music

The power supply uses resonant mode technology and responds directly to the dynamics of the music. When the signal requires more energy, the power supply adjusts automatically.

This provides a more stable foundation under the music. Large dynamic swings come effortlessly, while small details still stand out clearly.

Volume control without affecting the signal

The ribbed titanium wheel on the front controls an optical encoder with 76 precise steps. The audio signal itself remains analog throughout the entire adjustment.

This means the volume changes precisely and in a controlled way without affecting the resolution or balance of the music.

Build the system the way you want

The analog crossover system makes it possible to adjust high-pass and low-pass filters separately. You can integrate active subwoofers and relieve the main speakers in the low end.

This provides greater flexibility in the setup and makes the I-588 suitable for both classic stereo systems and more advanced systems.

Noise control as part of the design

The I-588 works with an extensive network of Tesla coils, square Tesla coils, and anti aerial resonance coils. They reduce electrical and airborne noise in the circuit.

At the same time, the amplifier uses Ansuz’s analog dither technology, which helps reduce background noise even further. The result is a more open soundstage with better focus and clearer micro-details.

Design with a focus on both form and function

The cabinet was developed by Flemming Erik Rasmussen and Michael Børresen. The construction combines a minimalist design with a technical structure where materials and form work together.

This results in an amplifier that feels refined in use and fits naturally into a modern high-end system.
