Raidho's acclaimed ribbon tweeter
Raidho's proprietary ribbon tweeter is a unique design. It is designed and handmade in Denmark. To be completely precise, it is a Planar Magnetic Tweeter because of the traces in the foil. The foil is 11 micrometers thick, which means that it has 50 times less mass than a conventional dome tweeter.
This is because there is no voice coil, and the foil has an extremely low weight of 20 milligrams. The result is virtually no resonance or distortion, and the breakup point is an incredible 82 KHz. What you hear is an incredibly clear and natural sound. All the detail in the world, but no fatigue, no distortion, and no coloration. The best tweeter in the world? The making of Raidho speakers
At our factory in Denmark, we are proud to have a highly dedicated team of craftspeople. They have devoted their passion to making the best possible speakers. We spend many hours on each individual speaker to turn it into a work of art. You can feel and hear that in every Raidho design.
One man assembles one speaker after another. It essentially becomes his creation of passion. Special attention is given to every single detail, no matter how small, in order to achieve perfection. After assembly, each speaker is listened to, and the measurements are compared with the Master Reference of the model in question. No speaker leaves the factory without having been carefully examined with heart and mind.
Raidho produces as much as possible in-house and in collaboration with local companies to achieve the quality they want and the passion they need. It is the only way they can carry on the Raidho legacy.
When Raidho designs a new speaker model, they set ambitious goals and then design and build the specific parts needed to meet the targets for that particular model. No essential parts are selected from a brochure. Everything is custom-made to create unique creations.
