The T5 Silver Supreme Edition is equipped with advanced 8” bass drivers, where every single detail has been carefully considered. The baskets are made of titanium – a material chosen for its extreme strength and superior damping properties.

Through extensive FEM optimization, the geometry has been fine-tuned so that airflow moves freely and without resistance. This means you experience bass that is deep, controlled, and completely effortless.

The diaphragm is inspired by the M series and created to deliver both power and speed. The result is reproduction that feels lively, natural, and effortless – regardless of musical genre.

Patented Magnet Technology

At the core of the experience is Børresen's patented ironless magnet motor. Here, traditional materials have been replaced with handmade silver rings, significantly reducing inductance.

Where conventional speakers struggle with electrical resistance, the T5 Silver Supreme Edition works with unprecedented freedom. The result is a soundstage of extreme clarity, precision, and calm – where even the smallest nuances stand out clearly.

A World-Class Diaphragm

The diaphragm is built as an advanced sandwich construction with an aramid honeycomb core between layers of spread tow carbon fiber.

The materials are carefully selected to achieve the perfect balance between low weight and maximum rigidity. The addition of graphene and boron whiskers further strengthens the structure and ensures stable, resonance-free reproduction.

That means you hear the music – not the material.

Cryogenic Treatment for an Optimal Soundstage

All metal parts in the speaker undergo advanced cryogenic treatment. Extreme cooling optimizes the structure of the material, improving both strength and electrical conductivity.

It is a process that cannot be seen – but can clearly be heard. The result is a more open, calm, and natural soundstage.

The Børresen Tweeter

Børresen has used advanced FEM calculations to make the magnetic field more linear and efficient. This gives the driver easier movement, high efficiency, and precise reproduction.

The tweeter has an efficiency of no less than 94 dB and plays from approximately 2.5 kHz and up. The moving mass weighs only 0.01 grams, making the tweeter extremely fast.

The tweeter is built to withstand very high levels without distortion and can handle powerful transients without causing listening fatigue. Børresen has also completely avoided the use of transformers in the design.

Crossover – Unique and Technically Advanced Solution

Børresen speakers are equipped with serial crossovers, where the drivers share the same electrical current. This means that the signal remains phase-locked as it shifts between the drivers.

Unlike parallel crossovers, the serial crossovers route signals outside the operating range around the drivers, creating a more coherent system and taking the music experience to a new level.

Bi-Amping for Better Sound Quality

With bi-amping, you can send power separately to the woofer and the midrange/tweeter section. This provides both more power and a cleaner, more precise sound.

Børresen supports both passive and active bi-amping. With active bi-amping using an external crossover, you can adjust the crossover frequency yourself and optimize the sound for your listening room.

Advanced Cabinet Design for Maximum Performance

The Børresen T series combines high-gloss lacquer with real wood veneer. Solid wood and carbon fiber reinforcements increase both rigidity and airflow.

A rear-facing ventilation system reduces distortion and ensures effective pressure relief. The result is an open, dynamic, and precise sound in an elegant design.

Ansuz Gold Signature – The Most Advanced Cables

With Ansuz Gold Signature cables, the signal is elevated to a level where nothing is lost. Advanced technologies such as the Tesla Coil Principle and analog dither are actively used here for noise reduction.
