Titanium/Ceramic Sandwich Membrane:

Raidho's deep ceramic cone technology is already impressive, but the experience with the CVD process used to create their incredible (and incredibly expensive) Diamond drivers means they know what's possible. The goal was to approach or even match the performance of D-Series drivers - at a much more affordable price. The result was the new Titanium/Ceramic sandwich membrane.

Raidho started by taking their existing three-layer aluminum/ceramic sandwich and depositing on each side two layers of a carefully calculated combination of Titanium and Titanium Nitride particles using a high-temperature process to create a composite seven-layer membrane. The two layers of titanium coating act as incredibly dense structural layers that further increase the stiffness of the diaphragm while reducing internal resonance and the overall Q value. These incredibly sophisticated new units adorn the XT-5, a loudspeaker that is even better than the excellent X-5. When it comes to price and performance, engineering and execution, it's the most complete speaker Raidho has ever made.
