Inverted Darlington – muscle with finesse

At the heart of the A-50 is the three-stage Inverted Darlington amplifier circuit, developed to deliver high current with extremely low distortion. This design provides a very low output impedance, ensuring firm control over the speakers and bass reproduction that is both tight and physically present. At the same time, resolution and detail in the midrange and treble are preserved, so the music never becomes coarse or harsh.

One of the A-50’s greatest strengths is its built-in Dirac Live Room Correction in stereo. The system analyzes the room’s acoustics and corrects the frequency response to minimize unwanted resonances and irregularities, especially in the bass range. With an upgraded license, the correction can be extended to the full frequency range, providing even more precise and balanced reproduction.
