Two monoblocks and a separate preamplifier

Musical Fidelity M8xi is built with a separate preamplifier and two independent monoblock power amplifiers housed in a single chassis. Each power channel has its own transformer and heatsink, while the preamplifier is supplied by a separate power supply and positioned close to the inputs to ensure exceptionally short signal paths.

The uncompromising dual mono design reduces internal interference between channels and creates optimal operating conditions for the sensitive music signals.

Power without limits

With 550 watts per channel into 8 ohms and a full 870 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the M8xi has an exceptionally large power reserve. At the same time, the output stage can deliver up to 105 amperes, enabling the integrated amplifier to control even low-impedance speakers and complex loads.

The result is effortless sound reproduction with authority, control, and dynamics – regardless of music genre or volume level.

Integrated DAC for modern audio sources

In addition to its uncompromising analog design, the Musical Fidelity M8xi is equipped with a built-in DAC, making it easy to integrate modern digital audio sources.

The amplifier offers asynchronous USB-B, two coaxial, and two optical digital inputs. USB and the coaxial inputs support signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz, while the optical inputs support up to 24-bit/96 kHz.

In addition, there are four analog RCA inputs and two balanced XLR inputs, allowing the M8xi to serve as the natural control center in an advanced hi-fi system.
