KECES P14 – linear power supply for multiple hi-fi components

KECES P14 is a linear power supply for those who have already put the most important components in their hi-fi system in place and now want to give the power supply the same attention. Linear power supply for multiple parts of the system

One of the great strengths of the KECES P14 is the ability to combine the power supply for several compatible components in one unit. The four separate zones offer different voltages and current capacities, so the P14 can be part of a system with, for example, a streamer, DAC, and networking equipment, even if the components have different power requirements.

The most powerful zone can deliver up to 6 A, while the other zones can be used for less power-hungry equipment. This provides flexibility if your hi-fi system changes later on, while also reducing the need for multiple separate power supplies behind the system.

Always check the voltage, polarity, connector type, and power requirements of each individual component before connecting it to the P14.

Stable, low-noise power for hi-fi

KECES P14 is built around a toroidal transformer and an analog regulation design without ICs. Each output has separate ground, and KECES states ripple noise at below 100 µV at full load and below 10 µV at 60% load.

The P14 does not add a new function to your system. Instead, the purpose is to give compatible DACs, streamers, and other components stable, low-noise electrical operating conditions.

KECES has also implemented its Quantum Resonance Technology. The manufacturer describes the technology as a solution developed to improve timing and coherence between electromechanical components.

Integrated USB isolator for digital systems

The P14 stands out from a traditional linear DC power supply with its fourth zone. Here, you get both a 5 V power supply and an integrated USB isolator with support for PCM up to 24-bit/96 kHz and DSD64.

This gives you an extra option in digital hi-fi systems where you also want to work with electrical isolation around the USB connection.

The construction is housed in an aluminum chassis measuring 300 × 279 × 66 mm and has a net weight of 7 kg. The P14 also has built-in overtemperature protection and has been developed with a focus on low-noise operation without annoying transformer hum.

KECES P14 makes especially good sense in a hi-fi system with several compatible DC components, where you want one unified and flexible linear power supply rather than separate solutions for each component.
