PowerSwitch D-TC Gold Signature from Ansuz Acoustics is a high-end Ethernet switch designed to minimize electrical and electromagnetic noise in network-based audio systems. The construction combines active noise reduction via Tesla coil technology, analog dither circuits, and mechanical resonance control in a chassis built from composite materials. With 140 active Tesla coils and advanced signal processing, the unit is developed to reduce RF noise and jitter-related interference in digital audio streams before the DAC or streamer.

ACTIVE NOISE REDUCTION
PowerSwitch D-TC Gold Signature uses a combination of passive and active Tesla coil circuits. These work by generating opposite-phase voltage pulses that reduce high-frequency noise spikes in the signal.
The system operates in parallel with the signal path and does not affect the data stream directly, but reduces electrical noise in both the network and connected components.
ANALOG DITHER TECHNOLOGY
The built-in 3rd-generation analog dither technology adds controlled signal variations that reduce quantization-related noise and improve signal resolution. The technology is inspired by radar applications and operates with precisely defined frequencies in opposite phase.
This contributes to a lower noise floor and improved signal definition in digital audio streams.
ZIRCONIUM AND RESONANCE CONTROL
The implementation of zirconium in the Tesla coil structure improves mechanical and electrical stability. The material’s properties contribute to better control of microvibrations and electromagnetic interference.
The cabinet is made from a natural composite material that reduces hysteresis and mechanical resonances compared with traditional aluminum cabinets.
ANTI-AERIAL RESONANCE
All cables and signal paths act as potential antennas for RF noise. Ansuz’ Anti Aerial Resonance Coil technology breaks these patterns by dividing conductor lengths into undefined segments, reducing the absorption of airborne interference.
This minimizes noise pickup in the network signal.
SIGNAL CONDUCTORS AND CONSTRUCTION
Internal signal wiring is made of shielded copper with gold and silver plating for low resistance and stable signal transmission. The combination of materials is chosen to optimize both electrical and mechanical properties.
An internal PowerBox section provides an additional noise-reduced signal to compatible Ansuz components.
MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION
The cabinet and base plate are constructed as a sandwich structure with high mass and low resonance. The base plate contains titanium layers and is designed to work with Ansuz Darkz decoupling systems. This reduces vibration transfer to the internal circuits.
