Developed with a focus on signal purity

S-580 is engineered to preserve the digital signal as undisturbed as possible. Two separate clocks handle 44.1 kHz- and 48 kHz-based audio formats respectively, while the S/PDIF output is galvanically isolated from the rest of the circuit.

Together with six independent, low-noise power supplies, stable operating conditions are created throughout the entire signal path.

Streaming without limitations

S-580 provides access to modern streaming services such as Qobuz and also functions as a fully certified Roon Ready player. Via Aavik's own app, music libraries, playlists, and streaming services can be controlled from a tablet or smartphone in a clear user interface.

This provides quick access to the music without shifting focus away from the listening experience.

Advanced noise reduction

Like the other products in the 580 series, the S-580 uses several of Audio Group Denmark's noise-reducing technologies. Active Tesla Coils and Active Square Tesla Coils work to reduce electrical noise in the circuits, while Analog Dither Technology lowers the noise floor even further using precisely controlled anti-phase signals.

The technologies work together to create a calmer soundstage where details and nuances appear more clearly.

Copper chassis with a focus on resonance control

The 580 series stands out by having an internal chassis made of solid copper. The properties of copper reduce mechanical influence and hysteresis, giving the electronics better operating conditions.

Together with Aavik's composite cabinet, this helps limit resonances so the signal is affected as little as possible.
