About the Raidho X Series
This series is Raidho’s entry level, but it is by no means an entry-level series when it comes to technology, performance, and visual beauty. The series is all about giving the listener maximum performance for the money. In fact, each X model uses a slightly smaller version of the tweeter found in the €210,000 statement speaker - TD6.
The visual design of this series is very beautiful. All models fit discreetly into any home. The floorstanding speakers have an elongated wing shape, curved side panels, and bass reflex ports unlike any others. The stunning beauty continues inside:
The woofer
This driver is not only highly sophisticated and handcrafted in Denmark, but also a small work of art. Raidho’s Ceramix technology starts with a thin aluminum cone and then uses a liquid plasma process and incredibly high voltage to transform the outer skin of the metal into aluminum oxide ceramic. It is a time-consuming and expensive process, but the finished diaphragm is a unique, natural sandwich with thin, rigid skins on each side of a "softer" aluminum core, creating a structure that is stiffer than a pure ceramic cone, but with excellent self-damping. The first break-up occurs at an incredible 12.5 kHz.
The motor system consists of powerful neodymium magnets arranged around a very open system, ventilating the speaker with the added benefit that the titanium voice coil is cooled and reducing a part of the design that normally leads to distortion. The result is that the speakers disappear even more from the equation and deliver a soundstage without audible distortion and with a pitch-black background that highlights the instruments and a holographic soundstage.
