Although REL's flagship model - the No.32 model - is an unrivaled masterpiece, it may be too large for certain rooms. So how to deliver the No.32's exceptional sound quality, build quality and intelligent features in a more compact form factor? This is where No.31 comes into the picture. The No.31 is equipped with a completely newly developed 12" carbon unit, which is both incredibly stiff and light. This combination makes it possible to achieve bass with exquisite dynamics and precision.

Elegance and compact design

The No.31 matches the No.32's design step by step and yet manages to appear slimmer and more elegant. The elegant gilded handles, embedded in an ellipse, are preserved, as is the grid that allows a powerful air flow without creating noise like drapes can. The No.31 has the characteristic curved sides that define both its performance and expression. Despite the reduced visual and physical mass, the No.31 is able to deliver the best when space is tight.

Enhanced perfection

The No.31 features the same 1,000-watt NextGen 7 Class D amplifier as the No.32, but is limited to 900 watts to ensure the perfect balance for the 12-inch woofer in the No.31. This provides maximum dynamics while ensuring a long and reliable service life for both components. Our LimitLess Limiter™ is part of the magic that allows the amp to deliver powerful sound without audible compression and with effortless rhythm. Dual parametric filters enable precise fine-tuning of the deepest bass frequencies and a seamless transition from bass to main speakers. The electronic design in the Reference series is a work of art in itself.

Dynamic and sensitive sound

The impressive stroke length of the 12-inch woofer made of pure carbon fiber enables the No.31 to deliver a powerful and deep bass experience. The specially wound 3-inch voice coil, driven by a powerful 13-pound magnet structure, ensures that the No.31 can deliver exceptional sound even at high volume levels.

Take full control of your No.31 using the included REL Reference remote control. The remote control is designed to fit perfectly in your hand and exudes quality, solidity and reliability. All the familiar controls from previous REL models are readily available, including high (or low) level adjustment, crossover and .1/LFE level. The remote control is also equipped with metal rocker switches for important setup functions and a convenient on/off button.
