Sound quality created through innovative design

Blades represent KEF's constant pursuit of creating the most accurate and realistic sound possible. With the Blade One, you get the ultimate that KEF is capable of, and that's saying a lot. Among the many innovations are KEF's four powerful bass units, which are placed in a force canceling arrangement. When the bass units are placed back to back, it cancels out the kinetic forces that would otherwise affect the units output. The result is therefore a cleaner, more authentic sound with an astonishing low-level resonance.

The four woofers are also perfectly integrated with the 12th generation Uni-Q® with MAT™, so that you get as clean, perfect and authentic sound reproduction as possible. The crossover design in the latest Blade has also been improved to fine-tune the signal path for maximum clarity.

In the Blade One Meta, the base units have also been placed in their own chamber, to reduce any interference between them. At the same time, the solution reduces the need for additional damping materials that could degrade the sound quality.

The heart of the Blade One Meta is the Single Apparent Source technology - a technology that makes the sound come from a single point source. This unique technology gives the speaker an incredibly coherent sound, where the image is far more accurate than otherwise. In conventional loudspeakers, frequencies emitted from different places can interfere with each other and create distortion. But with Uni-Q technology, the frequencies are spread from the same point, which eliminates interference problems and ensures a cleaner sound with less distortion.
