QR 7 is Audiovector's new flagship in the QR range, and it was designed with a very clear purpose - to make playing music fun again! Its large and vivid sound transports you to the concert hall or nightclub of your dreams. This is an incredibly versatile speaker, which gives you the opportunity to hear everything from rock to classical music, and its downward-facing Q-reflex port makes it possible to place it closer to the wall than conventional speakers. So even though the QR 7 is a large speaker, they are still living room-friendly and capable of delivering award-winning sound even in smaller rooms. Powerful and extremely refined

While the QR 7 has a huge, room-filling sound, it is also an extremely refined speaker that has been developed, engineered and handcrafted at Audiovector's headquarters here in Denmark. It has a dynamic and musical ability and then it has the latest in speaker technologies to deliver an outstanding performance.

The QR 7's impressive cabinet houses two massive, air-displacing 8-inch drivers and a newly developed crossover that combine to create a hyper-dynamic, neutral-sounding speaker with a large and open soundstage. It's a full 3-way system with dual Pure Piston woofers with sandwich diaphragms, a 6-inch midrange and Audiovector's fast and nimble Air Motion Transformer tweeter. Due to its light impedance loading and high efficiency of 90.5dB, it is easy to drive, and a perfect match for both solid state and tube amplifiers. This is a speaker designed for inspiring and refreshing listening sessions.

One of Audiovector's hallmarks is that they design their drivers themselves, then get the best suppliers to build them. In this way, they ensure that they co-design their drive units in combination with their crossovers. The combination of ​a ​low hysteresis voice coil technology, large powerful magnets, rigid turbulence damping curves and sandwich membranes made of two layers of aluminium, gives them an opportunity to create a richer, clearer and more vibrant sound.

Designed for strength and elegant aesthetics

The QR 7's cabinet has been generously braced and made from high-density hardwood (HDF), to create the perfect combination of superior strength, low resonance and elegant aesthetics. The tweeter's front plates are made from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum. They are precision machined, glass blown, brushed and then anodized in a beautiful tungsten titanium gray color. The rose gold-plated dispersion mesh acts as an S-Stop filter and improves driver integration.
