Innovative bass system

The S/510's ContinuousCast™ Alloy Cone has been reinforced with an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber backing, allowing the thin aluminum diaphragm to handle the enormous power of 500 watts and long throws. This results in more precise and powerful deep bass that fills the room with sound without distortion.

12" Passive SuperProgressive™ Driver

The unique 12" passive SuperProgressive™ driver features a special suspension and extra linear movement of 8mm. This ensures performance that surpasses traditional subwoofers, helping it perform as a compact 12" driver at low volumes and a high-performance 14" driver at maximum output. The result is bass that is incredibly precise and powerful.

500 watt NextGen 3 amplifier

The 500-watt NextGen 3 amplifier is borrowed from REL's previous flagship model and produces enormous power reserves and current. The 20% increase in power from the previous version (400 watts) is necessary to deliver the high output levels required for modern movies, as well as to produce extremely deep bass in a high-end two-channel system.

To deliver the best possible bass for both movies and music, REL has developed PerfectFilter™ and PureTheatre™ technologies. When you listen to music, PerfectFilter™ ensures that the subwoofer can deliver a basement-deep bass that is also fast, detailed and with lots of texture and finesse. Exactly what REL is known for. Stackable for ultimate performance
