Technology and sound

The Xtension 12 Evolution builds sound quality on mass and decoupling. The 10 kg, TPE-damped aluminum platter with vinyl top layer combines high inertia with effective control of microvibrations – so the pickup works quietly with deeper bass and a blacker background.

The inverted main bearing uses a ceramic ball and magnetic support to reduce friction and mechanical noise to a minimum, while the mass-loaded plinth, filled with metal granules, carries the weight and absorbs energy, keeping natural resonances extremely low.

The high-performance magnetic feet and magnetically levitated subchassis effectively decouple the player from the furniture; the result is an open, spacious and stable reproduction where timing and instrument separation shine.

The 12" EVO tonearm with inverted ABEC-7 bearings follows the groove with ease and precision - perfect for both modern MC pickups and advanced MM models.

Design, use and finish

Form and function go hand in hand: electronic speed switching makes daily use easy, and the included dust cover protects when not playing.
