Mark Levinson No. 536 - The power amplifier for any high-end system
A Mark Levinson No. 536 mono block power amplifier is developed from the design of the legendary No. 33 and ML-2 amplifiers. The technical design and components have been improved, but the classic ML sound has been retained and refined. The amplifier runs with a very high bias current and thus in Class A mode under most listening conditions. It is only when you really push them that it switches to Class A/B.
No. 536 is a Mono power amplifier that delivers 1 x 400W into 8 ohms, and it doubles the output all the way down to 2 ohms, where it delivers a whopping 1600watts. No. 536 is the perfect partner for any high-end speaker.
Since 1972, Mark Levinson has been dedicated to a quest for the musical above all else. To achieve this goal, Mark Levinson engineers scoured the company’s archives and ultimately developed a circuit design philosophy called Pure Path. In short, it’s a discrete, directly coupled, fully balanced, dual mono signal path that delivers unlimited dynamics with the least possible noise. And you can hear it in the No. 536.

Mark Levinson No. 526 - The ultimate preamplifier
The Mark Levinson No526 is the brand's top model in preamplifiers. The No526 is packed to the brim with impressive technologies such as the Pure Path design of the electronics, and the unique R-2R step volume control that ensures details and full dynamics even at low volumes. It has a built-in High end Class A headphone output and a delicious MM/MC RIAA.
The preamplifier is of course fully balanced in the usual ML style, and all electronics are extremely nicely assembled without unnecessary cables and with ultra short signal paths. As something very special, it also has a High-end high-resolution D/A converter built in, so you can use digital sources, such as streamers, TV and still get ultra high sound quality.
