The Luxsin X9 combines three functions in one device: headphone amplifier, DAC and preamplifier. This means you can use it as a pure DAC for your existing setup, as a preamplifier in a full hi-fi chain, or as a dedicated headphone solution. The X9 is especially aimed at those who want to get the most out of their headphones – both balanced and unbalanced.

You can connect your headphones via either 4-pin XLR, 4.4mm balanced plug or the classic 6.3mm jack. Whichever type you use, the X9 delivers plenty of power, low noise and great control – even for the most demanding models.

SOUND STARTS WITH A STRONG DAC

At the heart of the Luxsin X9 is a top-shelf DAC chip: AKM's AK4499EX. This chip is renowned for its warm, natural sound and ability to reproduce complex details with calm and precision. Combined with a dedicated circuit design, based in part on lessons learned from the Eversolo DMP-A8, it ensures a sound that is both technically accurate and pleasant to listen to.

All digital signals are processed with extreme precision, and you can connect both USB (for example to a computer or streamer), coaxial S/PDIF, TosLink optical and analog RCA. The DAC supports high-resolution formats - perfect for modern lossless music listening.

CUSTOMIZED FOR YOUR HEADPHONES

One of the most impressive features of the Luxsin X9 is the built-in HP-EQ, which allows you to tailor the sound to your preferences – and to your headphones. With over 2,500 preset profiles (including for HiFiMAN, Audeze and others), the X9 automatically adapts to the characteristics of your headphones. This means you get the best possible balance without having to fiddle with manual settings.

HIGH QUALITY ALL THE WAY THROUGH

The Luxsin X9 is built without compromise. Here you will find an R2R-based volume control with precision down to 0.1 dB – something you typically only see in much more expensive high-end preamplifiers. Inside, silver-plated OCC copper cables, hand-selected high-quality capacitors and resistors, and gold-plated connectors are used for optimal signal transfer.

The design clearly draws inspiration from Eversolo, but the X9 stands out with its more robust and functional appearance. The large color display on the front provides access to the menu and settings, and the animated VU meters provide a visual impression of the signal level - a classic detail in a modern form.

SIMPLE OPERATION – GREAT CONTROL

Operation is easy via the touchscreen, the included remote control or the dedicated Luxsin app for iOS and Android. This allows you to control all functions – from input selection to EQ and output – directly from the sofa. The X9 also supports Bluetooth 5.0, so you can quickly stream music from your smartphone or tablet. However, it should be noted that the wireless connection is intended as a convenient solution – not a replacement for wired, high-resolution listening.
