This advanced technology uses a complex labyrinth structure to effectively absorb 99% of unwanted sound from the back of the tweeter. 12th Generation Uni-Q Driver Array – Harmonious and precise sound image

The Q7 Meta features the latest 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with MAT™. By placing the tweeter at the center of the midrange unit, a point source is created, ensuring a uniform and detailed sound distribution throughout the room. The innovative design is the result of decades of dedicated research and advanced simulation tools, providing an incredibly clear and precise audio experience, no matter where you are in the listening room.

Newly developed units for deeper and more precise bass

To deliver powerful and precise bass, the Q7 Meta has been upgraded to a 3-way design, with frequency ranges separated for optimal performance. The newly developed woofer has a hybrid structure with a low, concave aluminum surface on top of a paper diaphragm. This provides a rigid and lightweight construction that moves like a piston for better bass response and speed. Together with a 3D-optimized suspension geometry, a much more agile and controlled bass reproduction is achieved - even at really high volumes.

Shadow Flare – improved clarity and detail

Inspired by KEF's most exclusive models, the Q7 Meta features Shadow Flare technology. The precision-engineered surface acts as an extension of the Uni-Q's waveguide, reducing unwanted diffraction from the cabinet's edges. This allows KEF to eliminate the acoustic distortions associated with traditional loudspeakers, resulting in a significant improvement in clarity and detail. This allows you to hear even the finest nuances in music - from delicate cymbal hits to complex piano overtones.
