The Electrocompaniet AW 800 M is a monoblock amplifier created for music lovers who want something special. It replaces the legendary AW 600 NEMO and builds on Electrocompaniet's well-known sound philosophy with an even more powerful, precise and quiet construction. This is a complete redesign both inside and out, where even the smallest component has been chosen with care.

AN AMPLIFIER WITH MUSIC AT THE CENTER

The AW 800 M is not just a technical upgrade of a previous model. It feels like a product that has been created with musical understanding and experience. In mono mode, it delivers a whopping 800 watts into 8 ohms and up to 2200 watts into 2 ohms, meaning it can handle even the most power-hungry speakers without losing its breath. The stereo and bi-amping functions make it extra versatile and future-proof.

ADVANCED SIGNALING TECHNOLOGY AND DISTORTION-FREE SOUND

The AW 800 M uses Electrocompaniet's own signal architecture with high open loop bandwidth and direct coupling. The new output stages are designed to shield sensitive input stages from the load, which means less distortion and a more accurate reproduction. At the same time, the feedback system gets better working conditions, which helps keep noise and distortion to an absolute minimum.

A NOISE-FREE POWER SUPPLY WITH PLENTY OF RESERVES

The powerful power supply has been significantly improved with a whopping 210,000 microfarads of filter capacity. The transformers are both electrostatically and magnetically shielded and the input is filtered for both DC and RF noise. This provides a noise-free signal and a black background where the music stands out clearly, regardless of volume.

DESIGN WITH IDENTITY AND FUNCTION

The cabinet is built in a new modular design with improved rigidity and mechanical stability. The front panel has been visually upgraded with a 3D logo and a new power switch, and the top is adorned with two elegant aluminum bars. All wrapped in a matte, luxurious finish that emphasizes the exclusive nature of the product.

User-friendly features such as automatic standby, dimmable light and voltage switch between 115 and 230 volts make it easy to integrate the AW 800 M into any system. Trigger inputs and outputs ensure full control over on and off when included in larger setups.
