ADVANCED CLASS D AMPLIFIER TECHNOLOGY WITH OPTIMIZED UMAC MODULATION

The P-588 is based on the latest version of Pascal Class D technology. The improved UMAC switching modulation provides even faster signal processing and lower noise levels. The lower output impedance improves speaker control in all load ranges and ensures a reproduction with both authority and finesse. The music appears powerful, harmonious and completely controlled.

RESONANT MODE POWER SUPPLY WITH PRECISION POWER MANAGEMENT

The P-588 is equipped with an advanced power supply, optimized for Class D architecture. It operates in power-factor-corrected resonant mode, delivering a stable, pure sinusoidal voltage. When increased power is needed, the frequency is dynamically adjusted to increase current density without distortion. The result is low noise, high efficiency, and an impressive ability to handle demanding musical passages.

187 ACTIVE SQUARE TESLA COILS FOR EFFECTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION

The P-588 uses a whopping 187 active square Tesla coils, strategically placed in the upper and lower layers of the PCB layout. These coils act as active electromagnetic counterfields that effectively neutralize electrical noise. This technology is far more effective than passive solutions and ensures high signal integrity and a more focused and transparent sound.

3RD GENERATION ANALOG DITHER TECHNOLOGY WITH MAXIMUM SIGNAL DEPTH

The latest version of Aavik's analog dither technology is based on principles from radar technology. Through precisely defined anti-phase signals at specific frequencies, the noise level is significantly reduced and the signal coherence is improved. The 7 independent dither circuits are finely tuned to open up the soundstage and reproduce even the most subtle nuances in the recording with exceptional precision.

ANTI AERIAL RESONANCE COILS AGAINST AIRBORNE RF NOISE

To ensure optimum signal purity, the P-588 uses five passive anti aerial resonance coils. These components prevent airborne RF signals from being picked up by cables and introduced into the signal path. By absorbing and counteracting these disturbances, a completely clean and undisturbed sound reproduction is maintained.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN WITH MUSICAL IDENTITY

The design of the P-588 is the result of a close collaboration between Flemming Erik Rasmussen and Michael Børresen. The aesthetic and technical architecture is conceived as a single whole, where resonance damping, low inductance and high mechanical stability are integrated into the visual expression.
